We start at the top … identifying collective pain points, articulating accountabilities, establishing clarity of purpose and exploring organisational decision making - set against a backdrop of understanding the interest and influence of the broadest stakeholder groups on the business.
In other words, we strategically coach Board and Executive Team functionality with our clients to improve performance through purpose-led, values-based thinking.
Then we ask: is your business resilient? Do you know the weaknesses in your value chain? Do you measure and understand compound risk?
We develop clients organisational adaptive capacity to be a sustainable, business into the long term, able to attract committed talent and responsible investment funds.
We also support clients to meet Human Rights Due Diligence requirements, and prepare for new requirements such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive in the EU, or the requirements of investors to meet ESG goals, to understand the implications of the regulations and what they mean for each business.
Here we strive to understand the impacts of double materiality in our clients businesses. Is it possible to do good AND be profitable? We believe it is and we work to draw out the understanding of how …
Our approach is to engage in a systemic analysis of our clients organisations to understand all interactions and systemic issues. This is a modular approach - the D3 process of Discovery, Development and Design - bringing rigorous analysis and considered action planning to all needs. A step-by-step, agile process to get under the skin of understanding what’s missing and what’s possible.

Discovery – an overview of the key issues in an organisation and its value chain, as perceived by all stakeholders. We provide an analysis of the risks and opportunities, double materiality and give an overview of the risks and opportunities most relevant to achieving purpose. The Discovery phase concludes with a report highlighting our findings explored in a Leadership Decision Lab.
Development – a more in depth exploration of the identified priorities, taking a deep dive into the enablers and disablers of responsible business performance. We conduct systematic stakeholder consultation. Brokering constructive relationships will be a feature of this phase to test organisational resilience and adaptive capacity. We close data gaps and identify feedback loops for learning and innovation. This Development phase concludes with a proposal outlining actions that address the priorities identified in the initial Leadership Decision Lab.
A second Leadership Decision Lab presents the opportunity for in depth exploration with the project sponsors to assess what implementation means in practice. Are there the right skills and competencies available to deliver? Are there adequate financial resources? What is a realistic change plan?
Successful organisations are not only thought leaders, they are practice leaders. Delivery is key to transforming the ideas and thinking into reality. This is the difference between “greenwashing” or “virtue signalling” to genuine change which stakeholders will recognise and will build trusted relationships.
We offer 3 levels of service within this module;
Option A: clients take charge of delivering the agreed action plan from the second Leadership Decision Lab. CollaborANTS will support by building and embedding monitoring, evaluation, accountability & learning (MEAL) processes – including external stakeholders.
Option B: CollaborANTS provides change project management with clear KPIs.
Option C: Clients consider there to be an opportunity to be an innovator and market vanguard for industry sector change. CollaborANTS works on developing and implementing a campaign of change to have systemic positive impact beyond a single organisation – highlighting how the whole sector thinks about an issue. Our clients become positive disruptors.
